I get a call from my brother last week and he tells me he saw a trailer on TRU TV for a reality show about LIMO BOB. Limo Bob is a character who owns a limo company in Chicago and he is crazy.
He is the Mr. T of our industry, gold chains and all. Well we watched it and I have to say it was one of the dumbest things I have ever watched on TV and I have 4 kids, I watch stupid stuff on TV all the time.
There were several story lines in the show that are just not believable. In every story Limo Bob’s wife rushes into his office and out of breath tells him there is a last minute occasion and the client needs a limo ASAP!!!
Like they are some kind of superhero Limo Company coming to the rescue.
Then he summons a driver and the LIMO BOB machine goes full throttle to make it to the last minute run. From that point craziness ensues, at one point a SWEET 16 birthday party trashes the limo and LIMO BOB comes to the drivers rescue and a fight breaks out where the stretch Chrysler 300 limo gets the windshield bashed in by the client and her dad with a baseball bat. LIMO BOB and his henchmen wrestle the clients and demand payment.
Another story line was a birthday party where clients booked an H2 Hummer Limo and it was full of cross dressers getting frisky with the driver. Hey, I don’t judge, money’s green no matter what you’re wearing or who you date, I always say.
This limo company even offers what they refer to as a “MIDGET MATRE’DEE” Which is a little person running up and down the aisle of the limo serving drinks.
I can tell you first hand that this business has thrown me for a loop over the years and I can spin you some limo stories you wouldn’t believe, but that show was totally over the top. This show makes limo guys look bad “NOT REALITY, ACTUALITY” is the TRU TV motto but there isn’t anything actual or real about it.
Call me and reserve a Phoenix limo and I’ll tell you a story that is real.

It is another hot July and that is when the mass exodus out of Phoenix begins. My brother Joey and I are stuck here running the limo biz.

My brother Joe and I were running through some new promotions for our wedding limo packages. We both hit on a crazy idea that seemed like a lot of fun and might work. So I am writing this blog and asking you all what you think.
 Possibly Frankie & Joey? Joe and I love to attend weddings, the ceremony, reception all of those family and friends weddings are just so special. So the idea was to have a contest for our clients. Here it is the bride & groom send us a video telling us why we should choose their wedding to crash, yes you heard me right, we are going to crash the wedding. Joe and I are going to bring dates, make a toast, dance with the bride and our all time favorite the CHICKEN DANCE.
If we choose their wedding to crash the bride and groom will receive their limousine or party bus transportation free of charge. Everyone who sends us a video will receive a gift from Platinum Ride Limos & Party Buses. In order to participate they must first book their wedding transportation service with us then send us the video.
The video should be lighthearted and funny, something that would catch our eye. They should have fun with it maybe dress in funny get-ups or something like that.

It is that time of the year when the promotion and gradutation parties gear up. Now is the time your in the market for a limousine service in Phoenix.A lot of parents call us asking for prices for limos and party buses on grad night.It is alot of fun and the kids are going to love it.

One of our clients recently sent this email to us after her daughters prom. It was so flattering I asked if I could post it and she said absolutely.
Hi guys!
I can’t thank you enough for making my daughter, Mariah, and her friend’s prom an “unforgettable” night!!! They had an absolute blast! I happened to be getting home when the party bus pulled up to our house and I swear, every single kid was smiling as they got down. Several of them told me that the party bus was the best part of the whole night. And Mariah said that several of her friends asked if they could just leave the dance and hang out in the bus all night! That says alot–teenagers are hard to please.
You guys did a great job and I am so happy with my choice. It was worth every penny. Mariah was asked the next day if prom night was as good as she hoped it would be, she paused for a second and said, “it was 100 times better”. When asked why, she said, “the party bus was amazing“.
Thanks again for making Mariah’s senior prom an unforgettable experience!!

In previous blogs I have tried to give good sound advice with regards to Prom reservations. I know from experience that people read but don’t necessarily put the advice into practice.
Specifically, you should watch out for limo companies in Arizona with unbelievable pricing for limos for proms. The deals may no be as good as they seem, cause you might be getting taken for a ride and left out in the cold.
Clients are calling me looking for limos and party buses for their kids proms because the companies they had booked with were saying things like, “ I don’t have that reservation on the books”, “We overbooked for that date” or they just don’t show up at all.
What is really going to be an eye opener is what does show up on prom night. Those great deals won’t look so great when the 15 year old party bus shows up practically held together with duct tape, broken or missing windows covered up with black painted plywood and smelling like garbage. It’s gonna happen, some people have called telling me they booked their bus prior to going down and looking at it (which I advised doing in my blog) and realize the mistake they have made.
I don’t say this to pour salt in the wound but to hopefully make a point to those of you still searching for a prom limo. The point being, take some advice from my previous blog don’t get taken for a ride!

There is a severe Limo and Party Bus shortage in Arizona! Over the past couple of years a lot of limousine companies in Phoenix have gone out of business due to the terrible economy. The Spring is usually our crazy busy season and now it’s even more so as clients scramble to find limos and party buses for their weddings, proms, birthdays, bachelor parties and so on.
Book your event early and take some advice from my previous blogs. There is some great information on how to be sure you are getting the best deal on your limo.
